TEAM BATANG TAGAYTAY – TAGAYTAY CYCLING CLUB

Batang Tagaytay, managed by Philcycling president and Tagaytay City Mayor Bambol Tolentino, finished second to Road Bike/7-11 in the team competition and pocketed the P300,000 prize, while Liquigaz took the third spot and the P200,000 cash prize. (Tour of Luzon)
Hilson Mangahis of Batang Tagaytay finished third with an aggregate time of 26:35:56, while Baler Ravina, who ruled the Baguio-to-Baguio stage, moved from 11th to fourth with 26:37:27. Joseph Millanes of Road Bike/7-11 finished fifth (26:37:56), followed by Calderon of DPT Law (26:37:57), Rendole of Geo State/The Beacon (26:38:07), Tomas Martinez of Road Bike/7-11 (26:38:14), erstwhile overall leader Lloyd Reynante of American Vinyl (26:39:40) and Dante Cagas of Road Bike/7-11 (26:41:55).
Ravina also claimed the King of the Mountain plum by accumulating 28 points, beating Guevarra who had 17.
Another Road Bike/7-11 rider, Sherwin Diamsay copped the Sprint King honor with 16 points, edging out Ravina, who had 12.
Mark Bonzo of Geo State/The Beacon, the son of the late 1983 Tour rookie champion Romeo and nephew of the current Tour’s race director Modesto, won the Rookie of the Year award by finishing 14th overall with a time of 26:49:07.

All TEAM MTB RIDERS are expected to join us downhill via Bagong Tubig to Buco, Talisay, Batangas every Saturday. Take off from Bagong Tubig point is 630 am.
Congrats to Kalvin Sumagui of Team Batang Tagaytay for bagging 5th place at the Highlands race last April 23, 2010. That is only his 2nd race at his age group of 17 and below. He is now 14.

good day po sa lahat ng tagaytay bikers, nakita ko yun site nyo by chance through internet.Im from Paris, France tubong ternate 2nd time ko umuwe ng phil this coming Aug 2-15 at naghahahanap po ako ng bikers sa cavite para maki join sa mga ride sana po ay makilala ko kyo at makasama sa 2 weeks vacation ko salamat po.
